Oh. My. God. I'm sitting here in my room, watching outside my window as we get socked with the most massive thunderstorm I think I've seen in years. It's awesome.

Mom just got in from battening down the hatches outside, and then we filled up the bathtub and every available pitcher and bucket with water just in case we lose power. I should find a flashlight. Maybe we'll lose that dead oak tree in the front yard too.

This is pretty cool. I love thunderstorms. Rain's coming down in sheets, and that's quite a mighty wind out there.

Okay, it's getting worse. I can't really see anything out the window anymore. I kinda feel like I should go downstairs. I think I'll go now.
