So, we're back from the family camping trip. It ended up being about 18 hours shorter than we thought, but you won't hear me complain. Dad had another allergic reaction to whatever it is he's allergic to, and given the severity of his allergic reactions and the fact that there was no ER in close proximity, we just decided to call it quits a day early. It was a fun camping trip nonetheless. Colin was able to spend two whole days acting upon his pyromaniacal inclinations. I nearly died trying to keep the dog from devouring a rabbit that was too brave for it's own good. I also met a very cute bat that had taken up residency in the outhouse. Very unobtrusive little creature... he just hung upside down from the ceiling and watched the people coming and going. He'd turn and look at you if you shined a light on him. The bat and the rabbit were about the extent of the wildlife. Didn't see any rattlesnakes. That's okay with me, though. So yeah, that's it. More later when I have more stories.
