Well friends, not a lot to write about here. But I just thought I'd post an update for the sake of posting an update.
I've been on kind of a nocturnal schedule these days. I need to get back on track and live like a normal human being again. We're going on a family camping trip this weekend. Leaving sometime Thursday after Dad gets home from work, or whenever we are ready to go, whichever comes first. No doubt Mom will spend most of the day a mad whirlwind of packing activity. So that means I have to make a decision... either throw all my efforts into helping, or stay as far away as possible. I can't decide which one might be safer.
Lynn is finally home from her summer adventures, and somewhere in the middle of it all, she managed to find a little too much time to watch Bravo and, to my delight, The West Wing is now her favorite TV show. So she's now spending all of her free time at my house, attempting to get through the first 44 episodes before we all head back to school. I, of course, seize upon any excuse I can find to watch this show, so I'm wholeheartedly participating in the festivities. I can say we're making good progress, after having watched 7 episodes in a row until 4:30 in the morning the other day.
So I have high hopes that the incessant boredom that has plagued me since late May will, in fact, finally cease. And before I know it, I will be back to Luther, and there will be lots of people to entertain me, and I will never be bored again. The End.
