Hello all.

I've not had a lot of news here in a while. In fact, I still don't have a lot of news. But I'm not going to let that deter me, because I know how you all love to read about my boring life. :)

I spent all of Tuesday helping my grandparents paint their bedroom. Actually, "helping" is probably an understatement considering the fact that I basically did everything. Grandpa pretended to help, but he, for some reason, decided to water down his paint before he did the baseboard edging, so I had to very discreetly give everything a second coat after he got done. I told him I was just touching up, and that seemed to satisfy him, thank God. Don't want to get on Grandpa's bad side. Grandma didn't even pretend to help, but that was just fine with me.

The other night, I played poker with Colin and Cherie. Cherie claimed she didn't know how to play, but of course she ended up winning all the crayons. I certainly never knew it was possible to get 5 of a kind. Then they wanted to learn how to play 500, but seeing as we only had 3 people, Cherie ended up being partnered with a stuffed monkey, which probably didn't help with the learning process. It seemed to me the stuffed monkey was getting abnormally good hands.

And I think that's about all the randomness I can dig up for now. My life really is incredibly boring. I apologize. Maybe one of these days something will happen that will actually be worth writing about, but until then, tigara buya. (I'm learning about some new languages: see Ekegusii)
