Something I can't live without
Well, it's been a fantastic weekend, but I must say, I am extremely tired. I was starting to get used to getting enough sleep, which is something that definitely didn't happen for these last couple nights. Nordic Fest is a good time and all, but it's mostly the people that make the occasion for me. Thanks to all you I spent time with; you made my weekend, and my whole summer, just that much better.
So I'm all prepared to launch out into the last, and probably most uneventful, stretch of the summer. I anticipate the only highlights will be Lynn coming home, and perhaps our family camping trip, the success of which is still somewhat in question. Also I will insist on a canoe trip up the St. Croix, but not until it gets hot again, because jumping in the river isn't as much fun if it's not hot outside.
Colin and Cherie lured me, with the promise of a free ticket, to see Fahrenheit 9/11 tonight. Couldn't say precisely what I thought of it, as I'm not entirely sure, other than that I thought it was generally well done. I would imagine there are many refutable aspects, but the fact remains that I didn't need convincing in the first place.
Well, that's really all the stuff that needs reporting on, with a good deal of unnecessary stuff woven in for good measure. So I'm signing off with a hearty goodnight to all, before I fall asleep on the keyboard. :)
